Who are we?
The ECPC is run on a voluntary basis by parents and meet in the school or online. We work to promote initiatives that support our school to make it a great learning environment for our children.
Our main aims are:
- To support the school in its work with pupils
- To represent the views of parents
- To promote contact between the school, parents, pupils, providers of nursery education and the community
- To be involved in the appointment of senior promoted staff

East Craigs Parent Council (ECPC) class representatives
Role: the role of the class representatives is to connect the ECPC and the parents of every year group in East Craigs Primary school.
Responsibilities: the class representatives are parent volunteers with a child in the year group and are responsible for the following:
- If required, gather feedback from parents and pass it onto the ECPC
- Pass on information from the ECPC to other parents in their child’s year group
- Publicise ECPC meetings and make clear how people can get involved
- Encourage parents to join the ECPC meetings
