Welcome

At East Craigs Primary School, our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a vibrant community of parents, carers, and teachers dedicated to enriching our children’s educational experience.

What we do

The PTA is run on a voluntary basis and we meet in the school or on Teams each term to organise social events and other fundraising initatives to help raise vital funds for our school. Our events are organised for the enjoyment of both parents and children of the school, including family bingo nights, children’s discos, Christmas and Summer fairs, ceilidhs and ad hoc fundraising such as crazy hair days.

Thanks to your support, the money we raise goes into enhancing the school experience for all our learners. Recent contributions have helped fund school trips, musical instruments, playground equipment, and ovens for our food technology classes.

We’re always excited to welcome new faces, whether you can help regularly or just every now and then. Keep an eye out for upcoming meetings and events, or drop us an email if you’re interested. There is no pressure to attend everything as every little bit helps, and we’d love to have you on board.

Easy ways to support us

Outside of our school activities, here are some easy ways to help raise funds for our school. The PTA have registered for some labelling / stamp options for uniform and belongings so that the school can benefit from purchases made via these companies, and easy fundraising is a really easy way to boost our funds while you shop online.

Purchase our East Craigs International Recipe Book

The children and families of East Craigs Primary School are proud to present their very own International Recipe Book!

The book is celebration of community, culture, and creativity, featuring pupil-created delights and cherished family dishes from around the world.

Featuring class photos, kids artwork, all the recipes from our 2025 bakeathon as well as from our lovely families, the East Craigs International Recipe Book is a perfect keepsake or great gift for family members. It can be ordered by using the link below. Copies are available for £6 each and all proceeds will go directly toward enriching the learning experiences of pupils at East Craigs Primary School.
